2024 Rewind
As I sit down to reflect on 2024, it’s hard to believe how much was packed into one year. With over 17 flights and countless adventures, this year was nothing short of unforgettable.
I kicked off the year with a trip to Denver, where I had the honour of filming two remarkable individuals — Dr. Marty Becker and Dr. Temple Grandin — for my role at Fear Free. This set the tone for a year filled with travel, creativity, and professional milestones.
From there, I visited Spokane, Washington, to assist in filming an immersive 360 VR video showcasing what a Fear Free clinic looks like. I returned to Denver later in the year, this time for a casual lunch with team members.
These trips reinforced how much I value being part of something as impactful as Fear Free.
2024 also took me to some incredible destinations, each with its own story.
In Orlando, Florida, I attended VMX, one of the largest veterinary conferences in the world. Las Vegas brought the excitement of exhibiting at the Western Veterinary Conference. In Atlanta, I marveled at the Georgia Aquarium and explored the Coca-Cola Museum. Then, I experienced a spontaneous stopover in Baltimore that allowed me to explore the Inner Harbor and the fascinating ships docked there.
One of the biggest highlights was traveling to Iceland with Adrienne — a dream come true. We soaked in the beauty of Reykjavik, rode Icelandic horses, chased waterfalls, hiked glaciers, and were lucky enough to catch the northern lights. It’s safe to say Iceland exceeded every expectation, and we’re already dreaming of returning to experience its summer magic.
While we had previously tried to get to the Grand Canyon in 2023, a snowstorm prevented that. But alas, in 2024, we finally made it! While in Arizona, Adrienne, Hayden, and I also explored Route 66 before heading down to Tucson, where we enjoyed a Wildcats football game with my best friend, Matt.
A Year of Sports and Celebrations
If 2024 was about anything, it was about sports and connection.
From cheering at the Bills home opener practice game to attending three live Buffalo Bills games (including our first tailgate with Pinto Ron), the energy was electric! Canada Day brought a Blue Jays game, and we caught four Niagara River Lions games and a Buffalo Bisons game to round out the year.
I also had the honor of celebrating love and friendship at Jordan and Meghan’s wedding, a beautiful reminder of the importance of cherishing those closest to us.
Professional Highlights
On the professional front, 2024 was a year of delivering some of the best work of my career with Fear Free. From spearheading global marketing initiatives in Australia, the UK, and South Korea to directing creative campaigns that reached veterinarians and pet owners worldwide, I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished as a team.
Looking Ahead to 2025
2024 was a year of growth, adventure, and milestones, and I’m determined to keep the momentum going in 2025. Whether it’s continuing to push creative boundaries, traveling to new destinations, or savoring more time with friends and family, I’m excited for what’s ahead.
To my friends, family, and colleagues — thank you for being part of my journey. Here’s to another year of health, happiness, and success.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
